How does this non-slip coating for bathtubs work?
SKID SAFE™ forms a clear coating on the base of the tub or shower. It is designed to improve grip when the surface is wet without adding visible traction grains or changing the surface’s look.
The bathtub and acrylic shower kit provides up to two years of slip resistance and sealing when properly applied and maintained. Actual results depend on surface preparation, use, and care.
What’s included?
The kit contains one 8 fl. oz. bottle of SKID SAFE™ sealer and an application cloth. It covers two standard-sized bathtubs or acrylic shower bases.

How do you apply it?
Wash and clean the bathtub floor or shower base, then dry it thoroughly.
Put on gloves and eye protection. Add SKID SAFE™ to the supplied cloth.
Apply a thin coat to the base. It should look evenly wet, without puddles or bubbles.
Wait about 10 minutes, or until the coat is completely dry. Repeat for three more coats, allowing each to dry before applying the next.
Keep water off the coated surface for at least 24 hours; 48 hours is preferred.
Follow the full installation and data sheet supplied for the kit before starting. Plan the project for a time when the tub or shower will be out of use during application and drying.
